Congratulations to the Sands Ethics Bowl team for taking second place in a regional Ethics Bowl competition hosted by Simon Fraser University on Saturday. The event, titled Democracy in Our Backyard, was held at SFU’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver and featured teams from around the Lower Mainland. The Sands team of Daryush Billimoria, Mason Carter, Geoffrey Nathan, Isitha Tennakoon, and Garrett Woodson were outstanding all day, with their narrow loss to the eventual tournament winners being the only blemish on their record. Way to go Sands!
