Reminder to all GRADE 8’S. you have a mandatory FLEX with our Grade 8 Mentorship Team on Tuesday May 13th and Thursday May 15th . Grade 8’s with Last Name’s A – K will be on May 13th and Last Name’s L – Z will be on May 15th

All members of the PE 10 Leadership class that are coming on the PE LEADERSHIP FIELD TRIP to Deep Cove this Wednesday, please meet in Room 101 today, Monday May 12th t lunch for a quick but important meeting.
All must attend.

For GRADE 8’S writing the GAUSS MATH CONTEST on Wednesday, May 14th, there will be a meeting today, Monday May 12th in room 301 at lunch to go over what to expect during the test as well as some more practice before the big day.
Bring a calculator and a friend as we prepare for the contest with some challenging questions.

Sands, tomorrow (Tuesday May 13th) is your last day to sign up for RELAY FOR LIFE. Be sure to come down at lunch tomorrow for our sign up party! There will be popcorn, cotton candy, freezies, and more! Sign up on the spot a receive all three for free!
or you can sign up online at relayforlife.ca/sands. Sign up costs $15 and includes entrance to the event on June 4th,, food, a relay t-shirt, and a luminary bag. Also be sure to fundraise so we can reach our goal of $12,000!

Sands is hosting a FINE ARTS NIGHT with visual and performing arts on Wednesday May 14th at 6:00pm.
Doors open at 5:30pm, entry to the event is free but donations are encouraged as it is a third-party fundraiser for ALS BC.

GRADS VS. TEACHERS SPORTS SERIES begins with Volleyball on May 15th, and Futsal is May 29th.
