Hey Sands! Have you ever heard racist, homophobic or hurtful comments at our school, but were afraid to speak up? The Sands Symposium for Diversity and Antiracism will be held on Monday and Tuesday, February 6 and 7, from 3 to 5 pm in the library. The meeting will be led by Angela Ma Brown, a professional in active witness training, and food and drinks will be provided. If you are a leader at our school, through Student Council, Delta Youth Advisory Council, Antiracism club, Green team and many others, it is highly recommended that you attend this meeting, but it is open to all students across all grades as well. Sign up by using the QR code links on the posters located in the halls. Hope to see you there!
