This week is CAREER WEEK at Sands. As part of Career Week, there is a Career Exploration activity for students in each grade to complete. Watch your deltalearns email for details and submit your completed activity to be entered to win a prize!

BOYS RUGBY PLAYERS – your first tryout / practice is Wednesday at 3pm on the back field – bring appropriate athletic wear and water, see you there!
Come to FINE ARTS FOR AID on February 5th to see All of Deltas Finest Artists. Lots of great music to be heard.
Doors open at 4:30pm and entry is only $1. All proceeds go to the Palestinian Children Relief Fund.

The Sands DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS CLUB welcomes all students to join their adventures on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch in Mr. Jamieson’s room (#304).
Do you need help with your schoolwork? Join Ms. Papakosta and Ms. Smyth and a team of peer tutors at HOMEWORK CLUB on Wednesdays from 3 PM to 4 PM at the library. Small snacks will be provided.
We are doing a CLOTHING SWAP. February 27th 3:00pm – 5:30pm in the library.
Accepting Clothes and accessories in good wearable condition. Drop off in the school foyer will be starting February 9th.
BCIT MECHANICAL TRADES PROGRAMS (Heavy Duty Mechanics and Truck and Transport Mechanics) will be at Sands Friday February 6th during flex. The presentation will cover work environment, aspects of the trade, technical training, pay scale and anything else you need to know! Ideal for those interested in Heavy Mechanics or for general career exploration. Sign up in Ms. Sansregret’s flex block or on the sign up sheet in Career Centre before Thursday.
