Attention Sands, STUDENT COUNCIL is hosting a school wide EASTER EGG HUNT every single day this week!
All students are welcome to participate. The rules are simple,
Each day there will be 4 paper and 1 plastic Easter egg hidden around the hallways and only the hallways. Which includes the foyer and the study halls.
If you find one of the eggs, you can claim it by bringing it back to the office front desk and exchanging it for a prize.
There will be 4 small prizes and 1 big prize depending on the egg that you find. Good luck Sands!
GENDER-SEXUALITY ALLIANCE, We meet on Monday’s at lunch in room 302 with Ms. Muter.
A GSA is a student led club that aims to create a safe, welcoming, and accepting school environment
for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. All are welcome and snacks will be provided.

SANDS LEOS CLUB is a student-led club that provides leadership opportunities while giving back to the community through activities and fundraisers. The Leos meet Mondays @ lunch in Mr. Jamieson’s room #304 and all students are welcome.
Last Friday your Sands SENIOR BOYS RUGBY TEAM beat Semiahmoo 12-5 and Queen Elizabeth 26-12. The boys will be back in action this Thursday at Tamanawis at 4:20 and 4:40 pm. Come out and support!
After an exciting first week of games, the BADMINTON TEAM continues their home game stretch next week!

Come to ETHIC AND DEBATE CLUB at lunch on Wednesday in Mr. Jamieson’s room (304) as we discuss whether tourism truly benefits the world, or if it just adds more problems. “Can your Spring Break beach vacation help fight poverty? Is overtourism destroying popular destinations and harming local populations?”
